Owl Portable CCTV is a deployable surveillance unit for places where a fixed installation is not practical. It combines an industrial enclosure and mounting options with mobile connectivity, local recording and battery options, so it can move as the work moves.
Since 1 June 2024, construction worksites in Singapore with a contract value of S$5 million and above must install a video surveillance system under MOM's requirements, and work areas change as a project progresses. No fixed line is needed: the unit uses mobile connectivity, assessed against each site. Battery options are available for sites without mains power, and power autonomy is assessed against actual site conditions.
Can we watch the cameras live from the office?
Yes. Pair the unit with OwlAnywhere for live RTSP viewing over 4G, with no public IP needed.
Is footage kept if the mobile signal drops?
Local recording keeps footage on the unit, so recording does not depend on the mobile link. Recording capacity is assessed for each deployment.
Can it be used for MOM's VSS requirement?
